Our  date night.  Might not seem like a big deal, but  for us to  get out and watch a show together? Well, yes, it's a nice big deal. Our lovely neighbor Michelle babysat Tes. We share babysitters on double dates or do exchanges - the best neighbors ever!

Initially I had a twinge of, "oh, I'll miss Tesla. How am I going to have a great time out without her?" Even when Michelle asked if I was excited for our night out, I was sorta lukewarm. I appreciated having "Dav time" but wasn't sure if I'd get into the night groove if I was constantly thinking about my baby.

Ha...what was I thinking? Our date night was to go see Kinky. It was my 4th time; I LOVE these guys.

First though, I want to give credit to Dav for first taking me to a bar, getting us some yummy fancy cocktails, and letting me sit on his lap, smootching like good 'ol times. I liked that.

Once into the Independent where Kinky was playing...oh my.

We were intially a few yards from the stage, but I wiggled my way in and got right up front. Before I knew it, I was under their spell, giddy with excitement, dancing, and just happy as happy can be. I got some good photos considering how much pushing I was feeling from the equally enchanted audience. It sure gets wild!

Best of all was my old cowboy friend base player. He came so close I, um, patted his butt!! I couldn't help it; I was THAT close! I didn't want to freak him out so I only gave a few pats. Soon after, another dude behind me said, "right on!!" to which I responded, "I couldn't help it; his butt was there!!" What else was I supposed to do? : )
