QotD: This Totally Freaks Me Out

Balloons. Or more specifically, the potential popping of balloons. In other words, they are OK as long as they are floating peacefully up above somewhere. But if a kid is holding it, twisting it, and making the rubber screech, I jump out of my skin. I also don't like super taut balloons.

I'm working on this since I can't deprive Tesla of what people say is the pleasure of having balloons...

Me too! I can't stand to be around balloons for fear of them popping.
